Knotts Berry Farm

The kids and I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to go to Knotts Berry Farm with my fun cousins from Virginia! They were out visiting and were nice enough to let me and the kids join them there! We had lots of fun! It was a little crazy of me to take 2 kids on my own, but my aunt and uncle were a HUGE help! Landon loved the rides! It is really more fun to watch your own kids on the rides then it is to ride them yourself! Landon was very cute on them and had lots of fun! He never got tired the whole day! I did get to ride some rides myself and also really enjoyed them! I hadn't been on a roller coaster in years!

We went on a mini roller coaster! Landon was a little afraid when it went down, but I would get really excited and then he would after he figured out it really was fun! I couldn't stop laughing! It was so fun to watch him and experience the thrill of it with him!

He flew this airplane all by himself too! He was a great pilot!!!

Landon was so excited! This was the first ride he went on all alone! He did great and absolutely loved it!!!

Michael Bolton

My mom and my sister Melanie got to go to a Michael Bolton concert last night! We grew up loving him and his music! We always cleaned the house to all his amazing songs! Come on, lets be honest, who doesn't love a little Michael! They got the VIP treatment. They got to go and meet and talk with him in his dressing room and got 7th row seats smack dab in the middle! Lucky girls! They said he is really short, only 5'5, but good looking and very nice!

Our cute kids! Landon wanted to lay by his sis and take a picture! He seriously loves his little sis so much! I am so grateful for that! I love them! Being their mom is really the best!!!

Landon got a balloon at the grocery store today. He fell asleep in the car on the way home and had the tightest grip the balloon! I carried him into the house, laid him down, and he slept like this for about 2 hours! He didn't move an inch and kept that tight grip the whole time! So cute!

Oh my gosh! She is getting so big, so fast!!! She is constantly trying to sit up! The other night I tried putting her in her little bouncer, but she was refusing to sit back, so we put her in the highchair and she loved it! She did really well and got a whole new view of dinner! She is just so cute and getting so smart and strong!

Us on our 5 year anniversary!!!

This is a replica of our wedding cake! It was part of Chris' anniversary gift from me. I also had his wedding ring engraved with one of our favorite ways we say I love you to each other! He was very surprised and VERY HAPPY to see his ring! He thought he lost it and was feeling bad, but really I stole it off his finger in the middle of the night! I was so happy that I pulled one over on him!!! He got me a diamond band to go with my ring! I love it!!! It is so pretty and just the right enhancement I was looking for for my wedding ring! We got to go to dinner and a movie ALL ALONE!!!!! It was so nice, Avie did so well, but of course I missed my babies!

What a fun Poppi! On Saturday afternoon Poppi decided to get in the pool with Landon! This is very unusual for my dad, so it was extra fun and extra funny to see! Thanks for being the best and most fun Grandpa Dad! We love you!!!

Kelsey's Bridal Shower

A couple of weeks ago I threw my best friend, Kelsey, from high school her bridal shower! I loved doing it and it turned out so well! It was a nice intimate shower and I loved all the little details I did!!!! I was totally proud of myself and can't wait to through another party! I love you Kels and can't wait for the wedding!!!

5 years!!!

So today is mine and Chris' 5 year wedding anniversary! WOW!!! 5 years has gone by so fast and it has honestly been so amazing! I still remember our wedding day and how excited we were! I am still so excited everyday about being married to him! We are best friends and have so much fun being together! We have accomplished so much already it seems in these 5 years. We love our 2 kids more then anything and love being a little family so much! We have always felt so blessed and we are so excited for all the years to come!

I just want my Hottie of a husband to know how much I love and appreciate him for all that he is and all that he does! I seriously can't put it into words how much I love you! Thanks for putting a smile on my face everyday and for always letting me know how ouch you love me!!!! Happy Anniversary Babe!!!

Chris' 1st week

Chris has just about finished his first week of academy! He says it's the hardest thing he has ever done, but failure s not an option! He's gotten yelled at and had a few memos to write so far. He asks that we all pray for him not to get memos! They are not fun to write and take time. I have to say though, he comes home in a little better mood then I thought he would this 1st week! He just says that the whole day is so intense and so hard that when he gets in the car it's a huge relief and he knows that he is done getting yelled at for the day!
Please keep him in your prayers! He is doing AWESOME and is working so hard! I love him so much and am so proud of him and grateful for him! Thanks for all the support so far everyone!!!
