HaTe ThE SnOw, HaTe ThE SnOw, HaTe ThE SnOw!

So I am being a little pesamistic in his post, title! Don't get me wrong, the snow is beautiful, but not on this day for me! See my wonderful, hard working Hubby is finally done with the Sheriff Academy!!!! Yeah!!! So I was supposed to be at a very nice graduation dinner tonight for my husband. It was a BIG DEAL!!! But as my luck would have it Every main road and freeway in Southern California has been closed ALL DAY because of the snow. It's not just a little snow, it's A LOT OF SNOW! I have been crying and stressed all day. I have gone through this whole process with Chris, side by side, for the past 6 months. I have really been looking forward to this and I didn't get to go! Plus Chris' family has been traveling all day from Idaho to be here for his graduation tomorrow and they are stuck until at least 10am tomorrow! The roads are closed there too. All I can say is thank Heavens it is supposed to be clear tomorrow. I WILL NOT miss his graduation for any reason!
So this first picture is of me in the beautiful snow with a sad face! I did have a little fun today though! I went and shopped at Target and spent a little too much because of stress! OOPs!!! Then the SWEET and FUN Reichmanns showed up at our front door on their quads to cheer me up! So I went out and had fun all over Apple Valley in the snow filled streets for about an hour and a half!!!! It was a TON of fun!!! Thanks guys for thinking of me and cheering me up! I LOVE you guys!!!!
All in all it is beatiful and the kids both LOVED it! Are they just not the CuTeSt! Chris and I are finally done with Academy!!!! Whooo HOOO!!!!! But my hubby will still not be home tonight, the 2nd time this week. He is stuck down the hill. But I am so grateful for everything I have and for the fact that my AwEsOmE hUsBaNd is an official Deputy Sheriff!!!!!

They were super cute out in the snow! I'm pretty sure this was Landon's first experience playing in the snow!

On Saturday morning we had so much fun dancing with jolLy gLeE together to Christmas music! We LoVe being together and this will always be a fun memory!

The cute men of the house outside hanging the lights! Landon was so excited and helpful!!!! He was "making Christmas"! Landon is so excited for Christmas this year! It is going to be so much fun! Everyday he loves seeing anything Christmas and talks about Santa and presents. So cute!

A couple of weeks ago we went shopping down at Victoria Gardens. As we were walking into Macy's Landon went in first. The store was already decorated for Christmas and so when Landon went in he threw his arms in the air and said "Christmas!" It was precious and priceless! Kids say the cutest things!!!!

The other morning Landon was having breakfast and I think Avie was sleeping so I had a moment! I decided to sit down at the table and be good and read the scriptures. So when Landon realized this he jumped off his chair and went and found his New Testament that my mom gave him. He was so excited and had to read his scriptures along with mommy!!! It was the cutest, sweetest thing in the world! It made me realize I need to be a better example to my little L!!! What a sweet boy!

Uncle Steve came to visit us for 1 night in his big cream truck! Thanks for letting Landon take a look around! We enjoyed having you here and can't wait to see you again next week!!!

Thankssgiving

So I know, I know! I am way behind on posting this! I've been busy, but here it is! We had a great Thanksgiving! Quite, but nice. We were able to meet my sister Melanie's boyfriend Ben. He was very nice and it was great to fianlly meet him! We went bowling on Friday which is always fun! We missed our other sis' though!
