There's gonna be a new Sheriff in town...

So it's official! Chris is going to be a Sheriff Deputy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got the call today giving him the go ahead and we couldn't be more excited! We have been going through this Law Enforcement deal for a year now and are finally there! The Sheriff's process has been faster and more positive! Chris will be sworn in Monday morning, we will get to attend that and then he has orientation for academy the rest of the day! He will be starting academy July 14 and that will be 6 months! It will be hard, but so worth it! So 2 more weeks and he will start his new career!!! We are so happy and feel so blessed to finally move forward with our lives! He deserves it and I know he will do awesome! So look out cause there's going to be a new HOT Sheriff in town!!!!

I have the best husband in the world! He is the love of my life and I don't know what I would do without him! He always can put a smile on my face and always makes me feel so wonderful! I am so lucky to have found him and to have him as my hubby! My favorite part of the day is when he comes home!!! Thanks for all you do for our family babe! We love you tons!!!

Landon's Getaway

So Landon got to go away this weekend for the 1st time without mom and dad! He got to go to Utah with his Nana and Poppi and his Aunt Mellie! Chris and I went away on our own weekend getaway!!!!=) They went for a sad reason, a funeral, but they had a great time! Landon did really well and got SUPER spoiled! You would have thought it was his birthday! Thanks everyone!!! On Saturday he was able to go spend time with his Grandma Bobbie while my fam went to the funeral. He had tons of fun with his grandma and got spoiled from her! He got a really cool Mr. Potato and Friends and a really cool magnadoodle from her! She also had 2 of Landon's favorite things, apple juice and animal crackers! What a lucky boy! They watched movies, played, and went and walked all around Temple Square! Thanks grandma Bobbie for all the treats and fun!!!
He also got to see his Aunties Kim and Hilly!!! They had a fun BBQ and went to a SLC Bees game!!! He got a new Angels bat and ball from Aunt Kimmy and Uncle Jordan, new clothes from Aunt Hilly, and a new baseball hat from Aunt Mellie at the game! Like I said, you would have thought it was his birthday! He had tons of fun and was such a good boy! We are happy to have him back home though, we missed him tons!!!! Thanks Nana and Poppi for taking him and taking such great care of him!!!

Landon has been fighting to stay awake the last couple of days to skip his nap. So finally today at about 3:45 he fell asleep on the couch like this! He finally got to see his daddy and that's why I think he finally gave in! It was really cute and funny! We love him!

Weekend Fun

On Friday night we were able to go down to San Diego and Stay at Mel's house for the night! Thanks Mel! We missed you! We went to the Corvette Diner, which the kids loved, and had a fun noisy dinner! Avie thought all the noise was great and there were so many lights and pictures for her to see! My mom came down with us to help watch the kids while Chris and I went to the temple Saturday morning for our Friend Brent and Yvonne's sealing! That was our whole purpose of going down! We were so thankful we were able to be there with them on their very special day! Chris and I really enjoyed being at the San Diego temple, cause that's where we were sealed almost 5 years ago! We hadn't been back inside since then, so it was really special for us! It is my most favorite temple, it is just so beautiful inside and out! It was so wonderful to be inside and feel the spirit so strongly! I really love that I can go somewhere and feel so peaceful and forget about what is going on outside! What a privilege it truly is to be able to enter the temple! Saturday night we were able to go to the Cox's for dinner to celebrate and hang out with their wonderful family! We had a great weekend!!!!
